TFor a candidate to gain admission into any of the certificate courses, he/she must have at least any of the following: SSCE/ GCE/Grade II Teachers Certificate or its equivalent with at least a credit pass in any subject.
The minimum entry requirement for this programme is five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings. credit passes in English language, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science and any two (2) of the following subjects: Chemistry, Geography, Economics/Commerce, Technical Drawing, Physics, Food and Nutrition, Nigerian Language, Home Economics, French Language or five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects obtained at the final examination of a Preliminary National Diploma (Science and Technology) of this College or related Institutions accredited by NBTE are acceptable. Candidates coming in through Pre-ND must satisfy all conditions for Pre ND admission. a) Candidates must obtain the minimum cut-off point for UTME Examination conducted annually by JAMB.
Applicants with all of the following qualifications may be considered for
admission into this programme.
(a) All the entry requirements for admission into the ND programme as
stated in item 2.2.2
(b) The National Diploma with a minimum of lower credit pass in any
Agricultural programme (e.g. ND Pest Control, Agricultural Marketing,
Forestry, Soil Science, Ranch Management, Fisheries and Wild life
Management).
(c) A minimum of one year post National Diploma cognate experience.
(d) ND diploma with a pass but with two or more years of cognate experience
may be considered into the HND programmer.
(e) The candidate must be from National Board for Technical Education
(NBTE) accredited programmer.
(f) National Diploma JAMB Admission letter
